It reveals that about 20% of these foods, including bell peppers, blueberries, green beans, potatoes, and strawberries, have significant pesticide risks, while nearly all organic options and most conventional produce are low-risk. The article provides practical advice for minimizing exposure, highlights regulatory shortcomings, and discusses the health dangers of certain pesticides—especially for vulnerable populations such as children and pregnant people.
